Information.

We played Rugby Town many many years ago on a midweek night I think.

The four Yeltzmen had traveleld by train and taking a short cut through an Industrial Estate were approached by police who eventuually gave them a lift to the ground.

We witnessed many youngsters climb over the walls into the ground without paying.

Also when the supporters coach was about to leave youths about to throw stones/bricks at it were given a warning by Zee and Scouse and they refrained from throwing said objects.

Did this all happen in one game or am I dreaming?
When was it?
I only started doing away games when Paul Holleran was manager Kings Lynn, Gainsborough, The season we got to the first round FA Cup proper v Yeading.

John,
Most what you say seems ring a bell. Without checking match records, it was probably an early season game about 2008. Don’t know about the 4 yelzmen, but sounds about par for the course with them

Rugby 0 Halesowen 2
Tuesday 19th August 2008 could be the game I certainly remember their little yobs during the 2nd half throwing beer around at fans and players and the coach incident after the game. Time sure goes quick
