That goal was unreal!Noggin wrote: ↑27 Sep 2018, 20:57I think we forget what a debt of gratitude we owe Shaun for getting us to the end of that season. He wasn’t the best manager in some respects, but in others he was the best we have seen at the club in my time.
Henry Eze? I wonder how many clubs he has had now? Must be at least 20.
His wonder goal at Tivvy still lives in the memory though.

Re: Quick Quiz PART 2
Following on from Lee Hughes' brace in the previous round at Grantham, today's debutant Lewis Reilly's 2 goals was the 11th time that has been achieved by a Yeltz player in the FA Trophy. Can anyone name these?
On one other occasion more than 2 goals were scored, name that too?

Does anyone recall the first match when the floodlights, won in the 1983 Thorn EMI competition, were used?

I don't know if it was actually the first match but the great Derek Dougan performed the official switch on with a friendly against a Wolves side.Laurel Lane Lamper wrote: ↑10 Nov 2018, 19:52Does anyone recall the first match when the floodlights, won in the 1983 Thorn EMI competition, were used?

Re: Quick Quiz
Doog brought his side on 28 Feb 1984. I expect we played under the lights early in 83/84 season. There were 7.30 kos in November 1983 , I don't know about earlier.
