Those in charge of marketing.
If ever there was a time to promote this club and get season ticket sales on the up then it is now.
I say this off the back of WBA's latest appointment but not only that.
Blues and Villa aren't exactly pulling trees up.
A lot of disillusioned fans around. I'm sure a lot is being done already, but I feel it's time to strike while the iron is hot, so to speak.

Very good point, have you mentioned this to the commercial department

I've been doing everything I can on twitter to convince my baggie followers and on the WBA fanzone on facebook to get down to The Grove. Its really kicking off and the club should take advantage of it.

Any help and assistance that can be given by supporters by promoting the club on social media is more than welcome. Additional enquiries we get from new fans would be great - please point them in my direction.
We are doing what we can to promote the club within the constraints of time & budget so your help is very much appreciated.

I have to agree fully with this point. If every person on here could get just one match ball sponsor or half page advert in the programme it would help the club no end. Whilst of course it is important to have marketing/commercial guys on board we all have a responsibility to help if we can.HurstGreenHTFC wrote:Any help and assistance that can be given by supporters by promoting the club on social media is more than welcome. On radio WM tonight 6-7 Paul Frank's show upset ex-baggies fans were talking about the change of kit to white with a blue pin stripe and the coach appointment as not renewing season tickets.
1 caller said they were going to follow Leamington and one caller said they were going to follow Halesowen Town.

Re: Those in charge of marketing.
Sorry if my first post is a little controversial, but I still hope that its valid
Along with a business colleague, we agreed towards the end of last season to be a sponsor for the coming season with an option to extend for a further season. We were willing to pay upfront so that the club were able to use the money during close season, with contributing to maintenance foremost in our minds. The club has not been it touch to take up this offer of early payment
Now I learn that the work on the pitch has scarcely been started. From the little I know of this, I would have expected this to be underway very soon after the last match was played - and in any case, common sense would say it needs to be pretty well completed by now given that the first match is only around 6 weeks away.
Is there no verification by the league that the facilities of a new club (including the playing surface) reflect the status of the league?
If the club cannot be bother to sort out essentials like the pitch and chasing revenue, I am forced to question that whether our investment would be wise.

Hi Adrian
Yes your post is a little controversial to say the least as Chris and Selfie have been doing an amazing job on the commercial side to the extent that we have more sponsorship than ever this season and more than the last 5 seasons put together so for you to say they cannot be bothered to get in touch amazes me. These lads are out getting people sponsoring day and night and all for the love of the club so if you have not been contacted give me your details and I will sort it no problem. There contact details are on the website so would of been much easier to email them than post on here really would it not?
As for the pitch a lot of work has been done and by the time we are finished will of spent in excess of £4,000 on it so unsure where your getting your information from. If you want to come down and give me a hand to help dig out the goalmouths and lay the new turf please do then you may appreciate the hard work that has and is going on.
