Albion fans struggle with history...mainly because they don't have much history.

I know Villa have an illustrious past, but to say Albion lack a history is a bit bellow the belt ;)

I tried hard not to mention 82. But couldn't resist :P

My point was that there's a 'where are they' section Surely this would be better to reminisce. I'm not against looking back, it does have its place and time.

A number of players and indeed management read this forum, wouldn't it be nice if they saw separate threads commentimg on their great work this year, rather than looking back.

I'd be a bit disappointed if I were in their shoes.

Just my view.

I'd think the reason John Hill et al decided to come and work / play at Halesowen are plenty but a huge one would be on a whole the very successful history we have over the last 30 years.

The fact Halesowen Town has a good history gives the current set up the opportunity to aspire to something. In the main we're a young side who will get better, who knows, in time they might get us there too.

Nope.

I also suspect that it is the only team we've played that has a pitch directly next door to another team in the same league.

Enough of a hint?

Talking if looking back, I've been looking for a copy of the DVD of wembley... Anyone any ideas?

I'd really like to see the match, as I wasn't born first time round ;-) lol

The "Harry's Golden Years" video can be found on eBay occasionally. I believe one of the old forumistas converted it to a DVD, although he never used to mention it...

Good shout old git, I'd never have got that without digging out the 1,500 odd programmes I've got and reading them all.
