Re: Gresley Next Saturday

I'm the gresley fan who answered on our forum. Helped out with getting the Leek game on and that deluge was right before the game, before that the pitch was in great condition compared to many I've seen lately (Kidsgrove looked like a tractor had been warming up on it) aside from one patch near to the top penalty box where we think there's a leaking pipe from a local house causing problems but the water board aren't helpful. We got that through the inspection prior to the leek game and then were surprised that the game went ahead but thankful that it did after a long day. It has however done differently from the forecast I'd heard last weekend so I'm not very hopeful, I might see if I can skip by the ground and get a photo just so I know for myself what condition it's now in and rest assured if there is any chance of play tomorrow I'll be up there to help them out. I'm just hoping that the strong winds have helped out.

Sounds like it's failed guys, one of our players has said so, pending confirmation from the club. See you later in the season!

Coalville's game at Rainworth is still ON, let's hope they drop some points and put us in a stronger position without playing ! Leek Town's game is OFF.

Belper winning too. They're dangerous. I'm more concerned of them than I am of Leek.
