I have to disagree, JohnC (of limo fame). Even if it were possible to get a game on, locally away from The Grove, the risk of injury on what would be a treacherous surface far outweighs any gain from "match practice."
Our players need to be protected as much as our pitch does, I feel.

I can see both sides to the argument, and had we have played last week I would be inclined to agree with Lord Lutley. Two weeks of no games though could prove even more dangerous to our momentum.
If we do have a local friendly i'll be impressed that a pitch has been found that isn't underwater nevermind opposition. Unless it is on 3G somewhere ;-)
