I just think, yesterday, was one of those games where you could of played until it was dark and Halesowen still wouldn't have won. You do get those games from time to time regardless of what league your playing in. We've ten days break now so hopefully injuries to players will subside and we can regroup and move on.
No need for panic, time's a great healer. Well done Handsworth and good luck.

Re: Handsworth Updates
On the one hand I can see why we might need another 'striker' but then on the other we've scored 29 goals in 11 matches. So it's a good problem to have to solve if it's a problem at all. Fortunately that's what the manager has to work out, not us

Yeah definitely one of those games. For large periods of the game we controlled it, but they also looked dangerous. It is disappointing to lose, always is but I cant take anything from Handsworth or call them jammy. Thoroughly deserved. I said before the game I had a bad feeling. They looked very together and confident in their warm up. On a different day, we would beat them but thats cup football. The test will be Stamford and how we bounce back.410viawednesbury wrote: ↑19 Sep 2021, 20:34I just think, yesterday, was one of those games where you could of played until it was dark and Halesowen still wouldn't have won. Re: Handsworth Updates
Stamford had an excellent result of their own yesterday - winning 2-1 away at Telford.
On one hand, that’s worrying, as they’re evidently another good side in this league. On the other, we’ll be playing them midweek before their next FA Cup game - which is ideal timing, I suppose.

*actually played 500 league games in his career, but yeah, Sicknote.
And also, but for slightly different reasons, Nick Colley...

And Handsworth draw Pontefract Collieries away. That's winnable again for them.
