I didn't see that coming but definitely an improvement. I'm not expecting a run of wins all of a sudden, but a clean sheet and a resolute defence will give us a platform to build on. I may have to amend my predictable predictions on Fantasy Island!

It's turned out a good day for us all round. St Neots lose at rock bottom Bedworth (their first win!). Hitchen and Redditch well beaten, Lowestoft pick up 1 point. Rushall lose as well. We've leapfrogged St Neots and will catch the others shortly!

Well i think its a good thing the new gaffers are willing to leave established players out, then bring them in. If that inspires them bloody great. Lets hope we can put a run together. Gutted I missed it but Redditch is next for me.

Bakare for me. Flew into tackles, drove forward with the ball, got the crowd going. Love him- exactly the player we need to get us climbing the league.

Be great to get a good following at Redditch and build on this result. Better times are coming, I can feel it.

Bakare came on on Boxing Day and immediately impressed me.
Tigerish in the tackle and, if he loses the ball, recovers quickly. Amazing pace and good ball control.
Great to see him winding our supporters up in the shed as a corner was being taken.
IF we can keep him he'll be a fan's favourite.

A good, honest and candid interview. As with the interview in the reverse fixture, he has it nailed on.

I also liked Smith's post match comments in the Halesowen News. A very honest and positive approach. I love that.

When did kicking off from the centre spot become optional?
