Very interesting following Goole on Twitter. There's not one person asking any questions. It's all 'sponsor this', 'great news on takeover', 'great training session last night'...............
Where as someone should be like 'where's the money coming from to fund Holdsworth and Woodhouse'. And then the money for the players they will no doubt sign. Good job there's no fit and proper person test in place eh?!

I don't know whether to belive this or not. I hope for Goole's sake that it's just a gag from Raiden.

I suspect it isn't though...

I can just see big Ron riding into town next ;) Time for Goole supporters to form a trust....methinks they will need it sooner rather than later ::)

I 'like' the The Northern Premier League page on Facebook...I've seen a couple of posts stating Rivaldo has been heavily linked.

I don't believe it, I think it's a publicity stunt, like when Blackburn Rovers were going to sign Ronaldinho.

I, myself, haven't made it up! Don't shoot the messenger and all that! :)

Just been on there, OMFG. I so hope that I'm just bitter and cynical and that it's all perfectly fine...

This bloke's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamer_Hassan tweeing that he's a big mate of their characterful chairman and will be down to watch some matches soon. Any mate of Danny Dyer's has to be a good addition to the mix.

"Goole Tahhhn, pwopah naw'ee"

It seems that the actor fella's son is a footballer as well - anybody like a quid on where he might turn up next?

And a bit more Googling reveals the actor and his lad are all hardcore Millwall ex-boxers....

I'd like for everyone to understand that this is JohnC typing, having hacked YeltzDoc's account.....

I saved a penalty taken by Tamer Hassan once upon a time. I s**t my pants, shouting "Get in there you (a naughty word beginning with 'c') afterwards...still looking over my shoulder to this very day!

Off the Goole forum. Nice start for Woodhouse...

"Good announcement, bit concerned about Curtis as he has openly slated the town of Goole on twitter."

But this would be ace if it were true (again off the Goole forum) Not likely though, as I don't think a regular commute from LA, every other day, would be on top of his list of priorities...

"Any truth in twitter rumours that Vinnie Jones has also joined as coach?"
