Just stating the facts as they are at present I hate to admit what I said in my previous post but that’s how it is at the moment

The Alvechurch chairman tweeted that Freemantle going to Stourbr*dge was a turn up for the books, he thought he was Yeltz bound

Seems very quiet on the signings front. Not just with our incomings but cant see as any of our released players have confirmed their moves (Eze aside)
Guess players are still considering their options and shortly plenty of moves will be announced.

Think it is vital we get a recognised striker but with Donnelly, Manning, and some of our new midfield signings we have goals in the squad

Would rather have Benbow than freemantle especially if he gets himself fully fit. Not sure if he has been retained

Hello, first time user here. I’ve been a Yeltz fan for many many years but none of you know me and I’ve only just got round to creating a forum account.

My initial observations/comments are that Stourbr*dge are doing brilliantly, Paul Smith is doing a great job and everyone should start to doubt and undermine Russ Penn, despite assembling a squad of non-league all-stars.

You won’t hear from me again for a while but I’ll most likely start posting again when you - sorry, WE - lose a few games.

Up The <checks notes> Yeltz!

Why are people worrying? The players that have been announced form the mainstay of a hugely competitive (and improved) squad. The only position we are absent is striker.

For the clubs, it’s a trade off. Everyone knows you can’t register players yet, but clubs need to “announce” players to build/retain interest and nudge season ticket and shirt sales. Even the players that have “committed” could still be tempted away with a bigger and better offer, I guess.

So there may well be signings/agreements/activities that aren’t public knowledge. Given the importance of a striker, I’d be very surprised if someone isn’t lined up (yet). Also, don’t forget, we have the whole “Trialist A” period in preseason friendlies.

If we’d have announced/confirmed nobody, then I’d be a little unsettled, but the club has given us loads to be excited about.

Stourbr*dge have a better squad than us at the moment seems strange that we are a bigger club but can’t seem to compete with them when it comes to signing forwards no forwards at the club don’t get it why do we keep signing midfielders at this rate we could be at the bottom of the league all the best strikers are sorted with clubs don’t know what russ penn is doing even Paul smith is putting together a useful squad

I mean they might. Clearly not practicing grammar or punctuation though. I've read some poor trolling attempts, but that has the hallmarks of someone who lives with his mom.
