Right, progress update.
I have got the Google wallet app
I have purchased a season ticket
I have downloaded it

So
Does that info sheet with a QR code on it work as it is or does it have to go into the wallet ?
How do I get it there ?

If you head back to your confirmation email, you should see 'add to Google Wallet' underneath the QR Code.

OMG. I've done it. And it does all the work for you to turn it into a proper looking ticket! Josh, cheers mate. Come on folks, if I can do it......

It's a few clicks. I can understand it's probably a little convoluted if you're not used to this way of using tickets - but once your ticket is on your phone it's really convenient. I'm glad the club have given us the option.

I think they offered me one of those when they tried to get me to upgrade a couple of years ago :-\

Seriously though, shouldnt the club be asking/giving info when I paid my £180 to ensure I was able to get this ticket??

Who would I be best speaking to about it on Saturday at the ground?
