Only one trialist first half, a lad from MK Dons in centre mid. Did OK.

Second half was chopping and changing, most of the trialists were youth teamers. Gregs looked fit and well, did a good job. The keeper pulled off some good saves, and Mason Heather took his goal well. One of the others looked lively, not sure of his name.

Penn says in his interview that we’ve got a couple more additions nearly finalised, and that Cassidy, Wollacott, Parker and Butterfield should all return. Formation looked like a 4-1-4-1.

All in all, a good day at the office. If the additions are of the right calibre then we should start off solid.

I think that’s a fair assessment.. the number 8 didn’t exactly set the world alight but did his job okay I guess.. was impressed with the young lads who came on and Greg’s did what Greg’s does.. was difficult to judge with the temperature and being the first game etc
