Re: Season tickets
I guess it's also rather mean of the club to not arrange our fixture schedule around the games played by the 'bigger' clubs. We are just a secondary tinpot club after all and should cater for all these eventualities.

Re: Season tickets
Totally get it from a club point regarding flexi tickets and the stour game not being included. Usually get a full season ticket but as they wasent available when I thought they would be I've booked a few weekends away instead. Was going to get a flexi now but if that's the only slot to buy 1 in person not going to bother with it. Hopefully can still pay cash on day. Online not for me I'm afraid

Re: Season tickets
If that was aimed at me I’ll bite.
I was actually happy to lose out going to the odd game out of my flexi ticket for the club to get the money from me upfront for the season but then taking away the all ticket games makes no sense to me so I’ll pay on the door.
If I end up pay more so be it.
Don’t be so Mono-fanatic, if you think Halesowen is most supporters first club then think again. Doesn’t make them any less of a fan though IMHO

Re: Season tickets
I bet the club wishes they just got rid of the flexi's now
It's good to read that no one is arguing about the price increase - it's still great value, isn't it?
Not a criticism, but a suggestion - the club need to do better with communicating and how they're wording Tweets/statuses and club statements.

Re: Season tickets
I agree with a lot of that but Im not sure how Flexi's were too cheap. Only a couple of quid cheaper than gate price. I got 12 tickets for 120 quid last year. Its not vastly cheaper. Its 11 games now though but even so, its still saving on gate fees. Re the Stour game, I think its worth remembering that Flexi tickets are amongst the first to be able to buy tickets for big games anyway, so its not really an issue. And itll be a while before we go on another cup run lol. Couldnt give a hoot about the Stourbr*dge games tbh but I get why it would rankle some. But fair points about them being abused IF they were.piearce9 wrote: ↑Yesterday, 11:21I think comms is still a bit of an issue, but here's the key things to say about the season ticket pricing.
1. The flexis were way too cheap, and have been for several seasons. Especially when paired off against a full season ticket - regular fans were buying flexis instead of full because of the pricing structure. It was in desperate need of balancing out.
2. The restriction on a Stour game seems contentious but I get this from the club's perspective. It's always a capacity crowd and they have to stay under the limit. In theory, there's nothing to stop people from buying a flexi season and then sharing it out amongst a dozen mates for the Stourbr*dge game. So they are doing this for the right reasons.
3. People are complaining about the club profiteering because of the above but that's nonsense. It's not like a Premier League club moving season tickets from £300 to £900 because they've got a captive audience. Halesowen's season tickets are still extremely good value (Redditch kindly did a graphic showing the cost of each team in the league) and then look at all this extra value that the club have added in to the full season ticket. Plus we have the best facilities and atmosphere in the entire league.
I completely get that money is tight for everyone - but I do think that the pricing is fair and reasonable. I remember a great comment on here when we were in the midst of Covid and people were wanting their £10 back for the Concord fixture - they said "some people know the cost of everything and the value of nothing". Think about what value you get from a season ticket following the Yeltz, it's money well spent.
For me its solely having to fork out in one lump, with holidays kids etc to pay as well. Likewise the Paypal option was removed for the shirts and I always buy all three. And I realise thats just personal to me.. Ill just pay on the gate. Had two tickets left from last year anyway, so as disappointing as it is, itll probably do me a favour. I have asked on media why Paypal was removed but no reply yet. Perhaps an explantion is all thats needed. Folks dont like change.

Re: Season tickets
Unfortunately(?), you're probably right. However, for a lot of folks on here, it is their first club, Andy being one of the long standing ones, who have travelled miles over the years to follow them. It is what it is. When we're succesful, crowds pick up. Same as any club. Ultimately the club is a business also and in it to make money/function. Whatever we all blather on about, it will do whats best for the Club. C'est la vie.MichaelGrove wrote: ↑Yesterday, 22:23If that was aimed at me I’ll bite.
