Tee and now Donnelly. I hope we bring in some goals from somewhere.

Re: New Blokes
So here’s my take:
Four standout players from last season, ideally you’d keep them all, but never going to be the case
KD - never going to stay. Got himself an agent with the ambition to play higher, and fair play to him I say. Did a great job for us. He’s got the talent and I actually think he’ll make it as a pro.
Tee & Wynter - disappointing but (undoubtedly) a higher paid deal on their doorstep. Makes sense for both of them. Wynter is about 32 and not fussed about playing higher up the pyramid.
Smile - I think he’s Oxford based so we’ve probably done well to retain him.
BUT here’s the major thing about the three that have gone. We’ve directly replaced them all. We’ve brought in excellent, proven players, all of whom are in their prime years.
Losing your favourite players is part of non-league. And I know it sounds sad but all three wrote positive, grateful farewell messages on Twitter - and the three arrivals all seem keen to get stuck in. So it’s about as well as we could have managed the transition.

Re: New Blokes
Too sensible. Banned.
More signings to come as well I imagine, with July 1st being the date a lot of players drop off contracts / academies / etc.
Like most old-skoolers, I'd like an Alsop-esque* gristly lump for all the little twinklers to play off, Iyesden did this brilliantly for Ben10. Still a bit unfashionable. I know, and I'm coming off like Westy bemoaning the loss of the wing-half, but some physicality up top is imho more necessary at our level due to the threshing machines centre-halfing it at Step 3.
*But without the innovative fruit storage solutions, obvs.

A scurrilous rumour.
