Re: Happy Geoff Moss Day!
On 17th May 1983, Geof f Moss scored 5 goals in the 8-0 win away at Ledbury:
LEDBURY A 8 0 COLDICOTT PENN PROSSER LACEY SHILVOCK S SHILVOCK R HICKMAN MOSS***** EDMONDS SMITH D** JOINSON L* sub:HAZLEWOOD
This was a repeat of the scoreline in the home fixture when the scorers were Don Smith (3), Lee Joinson (3), Paul Joinson, John Woodhouse
Geoff Moss had become the first player to achieve the feat of scoring 5 goals in a match since Alec Wood, who recently passed away, against Tamworth on 14th April 1965. Andy would have enjoyed watching that one?
