409 here ….unbelievable 😳
Although quite a lot are the fruit shoot brigade who thoughtfully serenaded everyone with 'Ferret is a wanker' at half time.
Dare I say he’s done more for the club at half time than they’ll ever do 🙄
Well quite. They were charming as ever.

Dan Whitehouse was easily man of the match. A string of very good saves.

Funge will be our main striker before too long. I've seen enough to suggest he's better than two of the four 'regulars', and I'd suggest he'd get a chance because the other two, through no fault of their own, struggle with fitness.

The sooner Funge is elevated to our top forward, the better.

Whilst I'm growing tired of friendlies at this point, I'm chomping at the bit to get into the season proper, I actually enjoyed tonight. Some good stuff played by both teams, in an entertaining game, and a couple of well taken goals. It's always good to see our academy players getting the chance to show what they can do.

100%agree about Funge, and I am now also heading into your camp regarding that trialist. Would like to see a bit more of that tall quick number 20 who came on late on as well.

Totally agree regarding Funge he will get better as season goes on, he looks our liveliest striker so far. I thought Dexter had a great game again at the back and can see him only getting better. Also, i thought Max in midfield was the best of the midfielders, he ran it for me always available and looking to play it forward again is getting better every game he plays.

Yeah definitely liked Funge.

DDT took his goal well, sprayed some decent passes about and hit a few really good tackles. Nearly got caught dillydallying with the ball like on Saturday though.

Dunno about the keeper, I personally wouldn't trust him to hold Platts jock but hey.

Attendance at the next friendly will depend on the weather. If it's a choice between getting drenched on the side or standing in a very moody Shed then I'll stay 'om.

Your last comment is the perfect example as to why these 'yobbos' have to be dealt with.
Their unacceptable behaviour is going to put some people off attending.
Our club has, in the past, had a deserved reputation for a great fan base.
Let's not lose that for the sake of rooting out this undesirable element.

Is this a poem Lutters? Quite an avant-garde meter.

I'd have thought you'd go for -

There once were some scrotes from Cradley
Whose behaviour reflected quite badley.
So we're not in the lurch,
we should bring back the birch
And I mean the punishment, not Bradley.

Nearly works...
