Leave the lad alone. He's having a bad week. First he gifts a goal, and then Carlton. Im worried for him.

Re: Next season's league.
There's always one team or another complaining about which division they go into, but geography inevitably means some teams will be an outlier (a bit like us).
The chairman says it will be hard for their supporters, but I guess it won't make much difference to most of their fans as the home and away following is negligible. The few who would follow them away would probably follow them anyway.
They had a good season but still had only 4 clubs with a lower attendance average.

With respect to Carlton they could get promoted a few times and their attendance wouldn’t improve much at that soulless ground. If you take away the 50 seater stand, bizarrely plonked behind a goal, all you are left with is a parks pitch with a barrier around and dressing rooms . The set up is completed with and an old portacabin acting as a bar stuck up one corner of the ground.juanillo wrote: ↑14 May 2022, 10:03There's always one team or another complaining about which division they go into, but geography inevitably means some teams will be an outlier (a bit like us).

I am surprised that none has yet mentioned the “atmosphere” from the adjacent sewage plant. Looking at Google Maps, I was surprised how big it is. Roughly 10 times bigger than the football ground and apparently the biggest in Nottinghamshire
