I’m expecting Shaun on here any second to dispute that. Tony Hackett was ever present in the 67/68 season until the final match when Robert Barrett stepped in
When I met my wife she had huge gloves. I thought to myself, "She's a keeper."

Alan Pemberton was always a favourite of mine. He came in towards the end of Caldicott's tenure and was a worthy replacement. Not as tall, but bloody hell was he agile.Laurel Lane Lamper wrote: ↑21 Apr 2022, 19:07Some more worth a mention:
Mark Hart , battled for the no1 shirt with Danny in the promotion race with Rushden, until that fateful last game of the season at Newport
Mark Osborn from the MM era
Alan Pemberton our other Wembley keeper
For me, Platty probably gets less of my attention this time round, because the back four do a lot of work we didnt have previously. But I echo the comments. Superb keeper.

We had a giant, lumbering centre forward (Tony 'Tiny' Roberts??) take over in goal on one occasion. Johnny Morris era, I believe.Laurel Lane Lamper wrote: ↑21 Apr 2022, 21:16I’m expecting Shaun on here any second to dispute that. Tony Edwards. Don’t remember him going in goal though.
Usually Malcolm stepped in if he was playing. He even played in goal against us in a rare win at Aggborough after Silvo mullered the Kiddy keeper.

And, to appease the masses -
Why did Greta Thunberg cross the road?
To complain about my bonfire of old fridges and car tyres.
And with glorious irony, it’s a recycled joke.
