Re: Diamond Days
I recognise both 10 and 12 but can't remember names! So, useful as ever.
HH's number 5, brilliant.
I'll claim to be number 15, must have popped for a Jimmy.....

Never be sure. Other pics may be available. Here we have a suspicious blue wig, 2 more coppers, a crutch & further evidence that no. 32 is in fact a mop.

Confirming that 39 is Nasty Derek.
The blue wig could be me, possibly Big Rich?

Re: Diamond Days
Well Jason Owen turned up, I think it is you in the wig, and the mop is definitely a mop

Re: Diamond Days
Simple to explain to newer folk about the mop, a tribute to Even Wright's hair. Not so easy to explain the vacuum cleaner at Salisbury.....

Re: Diamond Days
Mick Gorman sends his recollections "the Newport game was always going to be tense ,I spoke to the chairman at Newport to see if I could use their PA after the game what ever the out come was ,to thank the players /supporters ,and all concerned with HTFC for such a great season ,no problem he said ,I went to the press box and told the Newport announcer the plan ,he said No ! I went back at half time ,he would not let me in ,I said I would return at full time ,no he said again ,I went back with about 1p minutes left ,we had very heated words in English and Welsh ? I told him again that the chairman had agreed ,he then said he was in charge not the chairman ,I set off to see the chairman ,the announcer sent someone after me ,he had backed down ,and I made the announcements ,with him still moaning ,in the press box was a BBC radio Wales reporter ,who made a note of what had happened ,the following week BBC Wales mentioned the issue ,saying it was not nice to a visiting club ,few weeks later the PA man resigned or was he pushed by the chairman ?also I was doing a report for BBC west midlands ,I was told at full time Rushden had LOST ,good job I never announced that ,BBC had spoken to an official at Rushden ,who must have wanted to wind HTFC up ?? When BBC finally got to speak to their reporter at Rushden they got the real result ,I was told sometime later the person at Rushden also resigned ,was that pressure from Rushden FC ,due to the fact HTFC and Rushden where the greatest of friends .
