How did 2 new guys Bushaj and Murphy do??
Murphy put in a good performance considering he probably hasn’t even trained with the squad. Not sure he’ll be the saviour but looks tidy enough and fed off scraps today.

Bushaj did alright - not really sure what happened with their goal but think he may have been at fault. I guess he’s here to plug a gap until players (Bows in particular) get fit again.

Not sure if it is just me .... but out of the 3 defeats this week the only one that really bothers me is last Saturdays league defeat.

The cups this year, apart from prize money, feel like a damp squid where a ‘reward’ for a blistering FA Cup/Trophy run could end up at an empty Stadium of Light of Meadow Lane in sterile empty atmospheres. Let’s save those dreams for next year and get back to business in the league.

On another note does anybody have any theories on the ever growing injury crises, not just at our club, but Corby were the same , and now reading of several clubs who have multiple medium to long term ? Or were we just lucky last year ?

I wondered if the injuries have anything to do with clubs not having a proper pre season due to the uncertainty of when or if the season was going to start. Usually players have May off and are back to training in June with friendlies in July, but if course this year there was no activity from mid March

Not just you. But it does come with the proviso that we MUST do well in the league now.

Interesting post match from Paul Smith I thought. He seemed more upbeat but a couple of intriguing remarks.

Anyhoo...just remind us, and to lift the spirits, immortalised for eternity. Never get bored of watching

Ironically the next round on 31st will mean our match at Dunstable will be only one of 2 in the league that day as several clubs made it through
