What on earth is this all about?Poll wrote: ↑08 Sep 2020, 08:42The latest versions of both the iOS and Android Yeltzland apps should be available now.
For Android, I've:
- Fixed up the widget so it both looks and works better
- Hopefully fixed the issue where users were sometimes logged out of the Yeltz Forum
- Some under the cover improvements
For iOS, there is:
- A big update in how we show the club's Twitter timeline (new phones only, and is still work in progress, but the old code hadn't been supported by Twitter for many years now and some parts weren't fully working)
- An updated Today screen widget (more coming soon in this area when iOS 14 comes out in the next few weeks)
- Lots of improvements to the WatchOS app (a whole new design, and an easier way of refreshing the data)
As ever, if you see any bugs or have any ideas for improvements, let me know

Re: Yeltzland mobile apps updated
New version for iOS should be out now.
If you are using iOS 14, there's a fancy new widget that you can put on your home screen to show fixtures/results etc. I may make some more improvements later (especially around the frequency it updates), but I've found it pretty useful while testing over the last few weeks.
Fixed a few other bugs too, including the link to the league table

Re: Yeltzland mobile apps updated
New version of the iOS app should be available very soon.
In particular, the iPad app has been completely redesigned so the navigation is easier (uses a sidebar instead of the tabs at the bottom). Available on newer iPads - older ones still use the original version.
The changes also mean I've now built a version of the app for the Mac (available if you've upgraded to Big Sur). It's basically the same as the iPad version, but optimised for the Mac.
Here's a link to the Mac version on the Mac App Store which I hope works OK: https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/yeltzland/id1111223048
Next job is to add some improvements to the Android version over the next few weeks.

Re: Yeltzland mobile apps updated
New Android version of my Yeltzland app should be rolling out over the next few hours.
The main change is on the Twitter tab, which has been completely rewritten from scratch, plus some other smaller colour and font improvements
Get it at https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... ltzlandnew if you haven't got it already (or you're one of those crazy people who are still running the very old obsolete version)
Definitely let me know if you have any problems - especially on the Twitter tab

Re: Yeltzland mobile apps updated
Brilliant work Poll, as ever. Is there any reason why I can only see the most recent tweets though (14 or so from the last 5 days) following the Android update?
