9 The use of threatening behaviour, foul or abusive language is strictly forbidden and will result in arrest and/or ejection from the Ground. The Club may impose a ban for one or more Matches.
Taken from the ground regulations found on the club website - so it's clear the club don't want such behaviour at the Grove. I do wonder whether the club are looking into this incident. Given that it occurred right under Yeltz TV's nose, it may be easy to identify those guilty?

The club came out on social media and made a point when one of our players received abusive messages via social media, so for the sake of consistency and fairness, the same should apply to opposition players & officials.
Great point Josh, I hope the club do look into it and act. Whether as Y27 says it is 5, 6 or 30 people if public action was taken against just one individual a clear message would be sent out. Do the club have evidence, did any supporter report this to a steward / official ? For my part I was behind the Stourbr*dge Rd goal, heard plenty of commotion but was too far away to hear individual words or pinpoint (see/hear) a culprit.
Yes Josh, you are correct.

The statement has now been made and is much appreciated

I am led to believe that a statement will be made by the club very shortly.

But, as a large percentage of the club officials are at something far more important today (Dot's funeral) it is not on social media yet...

It'll be interesting to see what, if any, actions are taken by the club.

Yes, really the statement is only the first part of what needs to be done

Wonder if the club know the individual(s) as I certainly couldn't put my finger on it, maybe our head of media should put on an email address for people who know who the abuse was coming from, to report so action can take place, that would be my suggestion.

If you know who it was and want to contact the club directly there is a contact e-mail address on the official website.

The club will then deal with it..

I am currently stood outside Dot's funeral talking to Colin Brookes and if anyone doubts his passion for the club then they really should spend twenty minutes is his company!

I'm not sure I've read or heard anyone doubts his passion, that's clear within 20 seconds of talking to him. Let alone 20 minutes.

I was far from impressed by his speech at the end of season awards, and that's putting it mildly. Remember, it's him that kept on with that utter rubbish that John Hill is the best manager we've had in twenty years. Instead, he could and should have been at Steve Lynch telling him to sack him. If he cares about the club as much as people say, he should be now telling his daughter to sack the manager immediately. In my opinion he is massively responsible for what we saw on the pitch yesterday. Why he is allowed to get off so lightly all the time I'll never know.
