Thought I'd have a quick go at my idea of combining the old and the new - it's been a slow day.

My graphic skills aren't strong, but in principle it's not bad, especially if the church could be made whiter and a bit more distinct or less fiddly (I only had an old copy of the logo and to be honest don't really know what I'm doing!)

Poll, considering that was old old graphic and you reckon you don't know what your doing it ain't half bad!!! I really hope this magnificent effort will give the powers that be something to think about. Thank you very much for your efforts. Here's hoping.

I think a simpler version of that badge would have won the 'haters' of the new badge over and catered for social media and commercia needs.

I do feel in time we'll see a merger of old and new to appease the majority. But you'll probably not please everyone.

Come on folks, I cant believe merchandise is already altered, it cant be too late to come up with this ideal solution. Think of all the extra money it could make and happy punters to boot.

Splendid compromise.

If someone at the club had the sense to ring Nigel Pitt's firm then I would expect that even have the original artwork for the church. Logos from them are reasonably priced (ISTR paying less than £100, albeit a couple of years ago)h
