No gurantee fans can watch we presumed the comment friendly local meant that.
But we did play the baggies (under12's ;) in their tent in the last couple of years without fans allowed in.

Still say good for team but agree with Lord Lutters we don't want any injuries.

Yes, I agree that we need to keep the ball rolling (literally) but, virtually all other teams will be in the same situation or boat :-[ - pun definitely intended - so it isn't as though we are falling behind in that respect.
The disappointing outlook weather wise points to not much improvement next week, either! Snow last year - biblical floods this. Hey ho!

Friendly I believe, if it happens, will be at RAF Cosford against our coach Kev Barry's side. Their main pitch, where there's some cover, is under water so match will be played on the second pitch. I expect spectators will be allowed, 2pm ko.
Please await official confirmation of all the above.

Maybe someone thinks you might just be part of an umbrella organisation?!

Has anyone else noticed that it has rained consistently since Brother Avery started poetising about fish? Fish live in water so there may be a connection.

Totally agree with you Mr Noggin. I said at the time that we were paddling in deep waters but you all poo-pooed me and now instead of surfing the net , we are surfing on the Grove. Huh Westy even awarded him a George for the Crap he spouted forth. String him up I say, hang him high.

I don't think that Ken was suggesting that you should be strung up, Westy. I think he was suggesting extreme measures for Brother Avery. Having, said that, at least then Mr A would be able to keep his feet dry.

Your only sin in this Westy was bestowing a George before the full meteorological consequences of Brother Avery's disturbance of the grammar karma became apparent.

Well firstly Brother (Lariat) Avery has to go Mr Westy. And it has come to my attention that you have been awarding "Georges" a bit willy nilly (are they members?) so I'm affraid you 've got to go as well even though you have done some sterling work as our away mascot. And then there is anyone who encouraged our brother so that's Doc, Lord Lutters and AVFC. I'd better stop there or we won't have anyone at our next home match.
Dylan Thomas would turn in his grave.

Having just read Noggins post , he has to join the condemned for using words and phrases we don't understand.
