Re: Gresley
Absolutely brilliant game, continued how we left off at Loughboro. TBH last weeks 2nd half was the most I had enjoyed a game for a long time, yesterday was even better. Thanks to the Gresley keeper, it was his antics that sparked the fans into life. Really good to get some atmosphere back into the place and it can only help in bringing missing fans back.

Fantastic to read that some who visited The Grove for the first time, yesterday, thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Spread the word!

Re: Gresley
Two players who impressed me yesterday were Joe Hull and Mitch Botfield. Both John Hill & Morris have said these two players will be good for the future.
I take back my comments about Botfield earlier in the season about not being strong enough etc... He almost ran the show in the centre yesterday and looked very accomplished. Hull I hope sticks around too and realises he will continue to get chances.

Not a weak link in the side yesterday although Jean Michel had one of his quieter games.

Really enjoyed yesterday - fantastic performance, great atmosphere (made all the better by a keeper who cant take a bit of banter - why they bite amazes me) - The future is bright !

I'd like to take the credit for starting the singing yesterday as a chivalrous act; when zeezee wanted his daughter to start chanting with the offer of, "goo on, I'll buy yow a pint", i 'broke my cherry' of Grove singing with a rather lame "there's only one Ben haseley" which rather unsurprisingly caught on. Woke up giggling to myself today about the Ronseal keeper
