Ref was poor for both sides. I notice an accessor was present. Nothing more likely to turn a probably good ref into a fuss bag.Brightgoldenhaze wrote: ↑09 Mar 2025, 10:31It would have been a travesty if we hadn't won but I'm not not entirely sure how Platty coming for the bill, missing it, and pole-axing their striker wasn't a penalty.

Re: Banbury Updates
Agreed re. the ref, although there was clearly a Banbury team approach to try to ‘manage’ him. That said, KD was a very lucky boy when he flung an elbow at one of their defenders in front of the Harry Rudge - was a clear straight red.

3 more pts on the board after a awful first half I was glad we went in level.at half time. Should have been more convincing with a couple more goals in the last 10 mins but that said we looked in control. Discipline again certain players look a ticking time bomb waiting to go off better sides will work on this (who wouldn't). Some very tough games to go especially away from home, the more points we get before the Easter period the better.

Donnelly's stupid temper and lack of discipline may actually work in our favour as in that any club looking at taking him on would certainly take it into consideration and perhaps think twice.
