We definitely need a striker, however, I thought Boothe was desperately isolated yesterday and didn't stand much of a chance. Even with a new addition (presumably a target man type) I do think we need to work on our system.
But plenty to be positive about too. Manning looks in great form, and I liked Cassidy in a wing back role. I think we'll compete well this season, but it might be a safety-first approach!

Deffo agree. He seemed lost on Tuesday in midfield but really impressed with him yesterday.

Right...so we "let him go" to a team two divisions higher than us? How exactly would you have made him stay?

and in the last six months of the season, when opposition "found him out" he was n't good enough.

Tbf to the lad I've stayed in Torquay hotels with better service than he had backend of the season.
All water under the bridge now anyway, what's done is done.

I think you know what I mean. Yes he has moved to a club 2 levels up, for many on here he wasn't good enough for us. He couldn't do this, he was poor at that, although he finished as one of the leagues highest scorers and yes - has moved 2 leagues higher!! Now many people on here are complaining we don't have a centre forward.
This forum imo is full of fans who don't know they are born. For the vast majority of our clubs history we have been nowhere near this level and all I hear is, he ain't good enough, he was crap, we need new players. As I have always said - careful what you wish for

I agree with most of that. My point though was if we "let him go", it was so he could further his career. It wasn't because we wanted him to go. Mind you, some of the people who slagged Miracle off don't seem too keen on his replacement either. Tough times to be a Halesowen centre forward!

Yea agree that's my point. Let him go - was not the actual term I meant, could/should maybe have said 'lost'.
My overriding point is, I really don't get this seemly 'entitlement' attitude from many fellow yeltz fans. Most step 3 sides would have Micircle in a heartbeat.
We have turned into a following that 'expects everything' I personally don't get it
