Can I just clarify I have absolutely no doubt money is being spent on Yeltz and no where else. I have 100% faith and trust in that regard. My post wasn't intended to imply otherwise.

I also realise there are sources of revenue such as 3G pitch hire, investors, use of bars etc etc. I do, however, find it hard to believe our budget wouldn't be competitive enough to build a squad capable of mounting a challenge for the play-off positions. Of course, no one truly knows. It's all guesswork to fit a narrative, isn't it!

All I know is , that I'm never drinking a pint of coffee at a weekday game again. 2am I think I nodded off! ???

Moral of the story - just get pissed. You get to sleep quicker.

not wishing to pour cold water, it was cold enough at the shithole last night, on last night very welcome victory, but I thought that the Church were probably the worst team I ve seen ,on their own pitch, this season.

Yes it was rather brass monkeys especially as I was running late, ended up parking nearly 15 minutes away and got slightly lost en route back to the car after the match.

Their #2 was #2.

Just seen the highlights on Yeltz TV. Looked a solid performance for a change. Just my luck I missed it - got stranded at Barnt Green because the train I was on stopped and wouldn't go any further due to something kicking off at Redditch station. Was it just me or was anyone else in the same boat? (or train?).

Not just you. I spoke to several others who then got taxis or buses to Alvechurch.
