Certainly would have done!
I thought Miracle had missed his chance before slotting home.

There was an improvement after the subs came on but we were poor for well over an hour.

Manning changed the game. Put them on the back foot and gave them something to worry about. Until then, nothing. Miracle took his goal really well but again struggled against good defenders. More than happy to come away with a point, I feel we mugged them a bit. Onwards lads!

Another bouncy, bouncy pitch which we struggled to get a grip with. Hate those bloody things, but that said it cost them a second goal when that lob bounced over the bar. On any grass pitch that would have been 2 0 and game over.
Just to spite me I’ll guarantee that Nuneaton will find one to play on next Tuesday 😳

yes old git it was a bouncy pitch so what we should have done, especially in the first half in which we were clueless, was to keep the ball on the floor and play some footballl instead of just booting it up in the air. Colbourne should have pressed on and put the rather rotund defender under pressure instead of giving him time to look up and spray the ball around. Its not rocket science but it appears we just could n't cope with it. In the end we could have sneaked it , but with such a poor display, I think that we got out of jail.

A tough game, would have taken a draw at the start of the evening and certainly at half time. They were certainly the better side up until Cater and Mini came on, we seemed, all of a sudden to start getting the ball into the feet of players who could make things happen for us as the game got stretched. If I was Matt Clarke I would probably be a little peeved that they allowed the game to become as stretched as it was in the last 30minutes.

A point away from home to a team in the play offs, on another shitty plastic pitch, and we appear to have had no injuries - i'll take that. I can't see many teams going to Redditch and winning this season.
