Interesting that the Stratford report makes references to kicking up "the slope" towards the shed end.

I'd ask whether the Stratford reporter was at the same match or even there at all. Slope, midfield supremacy, ? We had more goalbound attempts (Mitchells header) than them and although Stratford were hard to break down, with a decent ref, the bards would have been lucky to finish the match with a full side , and really we may have scored further goals.

Yes, the reporter was also contradictory, claiming that Stratford had the better of the first half..but then it was no surprise when we took the lead.

I must be getting poor at crowd estimation. I thought quite a few more than 1,112.
