A very impressive and fluid performance, with plenty to be positive about. Both goals very well taken.

Started with a new trialist at CB - looked fairly young but had a good game and he was joined by our more familiar trialist late in the first half after Wynter went off (hopefully nothing too serious).

New midfield bloke looked bright, and Boothe appears be a good option to have upfront.

Looking in very good shape overall.

Couldn’t make the game tonight, I see Wynter was subbed. I wondered if it was tactical or was he injured?

He took a bit of a knock in a challenge and went off a few minutes later. It didn't look anything too serious though.

Saw him feeling the top of his hamstring a few minutes before that challenge and after being subbed could be seen stretching out on the side of the pitch.

Spoke to Wynter after the game, he said he was fine, he told me that he'd worked a night shift down south and hadn't really slept much and was knackered as much as anything. I think the bump he had was more precautionary.

It was a good opportunity I thought last night for a few to impress who perhaps haven't played as many minutes as others, at times our passing and movement looked really good, the first goal in particular came from a a really good spell of possession where we moved the ball quickly and there was lots of nice one and two touch link up play. Booth up front I thought really linked up play well, he's a typical 'big strong No9' who can hold the ball up but he also took up some great positions and his touch for Eze's goal was a really good example of his awareness of players around him. I though Jack Holmes had his best pre-season game last night too (from the games i've seen) he perhaps was dropping a little too deep at times and I would have liked to have seen him play a little closer to Booth possibly but I'm being a little picky there I guess. The new guy Todd Parker looks very good - very energetic, always wanted to get on the ball, moved the ball well, passing was good and got two good feet. I think he'll be a good player for us.

With Gornal to come on Thursday, I suspect it'll be a much changed team again, expected with holidays, player niggles and managing minutes but I'm confident in the players we've had come in and for those players there's plenty to play for in terms of trying to be in the starting XI v Leiston
