So, I thought I'd pop up to the match from my office. Only when I came to check did I realise that it was 1hr 41mins from St Albans, making a huge saving on the 1hr 45 minutes that it would have taken from my house. Still, time to boil an egg I suppose.

So disappointed I was unable to join you and the Westmiester for what appeared to be a trying yet fruitful evening. Sadly my Dad passed away on the morning so obviously it was not to be. Your report has cheered me up no end. That was a massive three points. After Saturday, I feared an after the lord mayor's show. Sets us up for another biggie at the weekend. Bring it on!

Andy ….. much as I don’t know you or your dad I’m guessing he was Rob from near Haden Hill who in previous years has been ringing WM couple nights a week …. Not as much this season but then the show has gone downhill…… he had great views and was very knowledgeable….. a sad loss to your family and the wider football world
