Disappointing to lose at the death to a team that seemed to offer very little. As for the Simeon penalty incident, I was looking head on at it and a photo shows him going down before the contact (and outside the penalty area). The booking was very harsh, but the decision was correct. At least the referee got one decision right https://adobe.ly/3AcyaZf

Incredibly unlucky to lose. Some days in football things don't go your way and you have a ref who is an idiot. Today was one of those days. We didn't play badly at all, and there's no need for knee jerk reactions. I said last week I'd get excited in three weeks' time and a dodgy loss today changes nothing.

It's a long old season and absolutely nowt was decided today...

well noggin you must have been looking through your small angled lens because we were adjacent to the incident and the keeper clearly made contact and the initial contact was in the area.

Blimey, his protestations even convinced me it was a penalty and I was miles from it. ;D

That's very easy to say, but if we lost out on the title by 2 points then it was decided today.

Only if we don't drop any more points this season? It's one game...

As opposed to Boldmere or Spalding or the other points we will inevitably drop? You can't win every week! If we lose and play badly next week I'll be more concerned but today felt more like one of those things, unlike the other losses when we've been dreadful.

Got to say i don't really like the description of pub team and crap facilities etc. Makes us sound like bad losers and Billy big bollocks etc.

Some of these clubs ain't blessed with the resources we have and do their best to to survive on limited resources.

Anyway to other clubs we would seem like a pub team with shite facilities so all relative I suppose.

Yes very frustrating yesterday but let's not lower ourselves to trashing our opponents. Just my opinion.

Gotta say I agree. I dont think they played like a pub team, and what does it say about us if we lost to them?
Yeah the ground is basic, but thats non league. Quite like visiting Coleshill if Im honest.
