6.1 Gutted as that’s cost me 2 Fantasy Island points!

Conclusion after the joys of a covid filled weekend is that football is definitely preferable when it’s viewed live
rather than on Football Web Pages.

Shame about the Ilkeston goal, but ultimately we’ll either win the league by ghosting past the other two or more likely want some momentum going into the play offs, so good result all round.

Apparently not a penalty. But they're heaping praise on Gibson for setting it up.

Yaxley played the second half with only ten men too.

Decent performance. It showed how much we missed Sim and a confidence boosting win. Robbie Bunn played as we all know he can. What an important return.
Nice club Soham but clearly operating on very small budgets and looked completely different to the team at our place, so the result was to be expected. But you gotta beat whats in front of you.

Great result today and good to see some goals scored.
Can only breed confidence for the run in.
Interesting line up though. was the set up like a couple of seasons ago with 2 attacking wing backs??
Well played guys

6-1 Yeltz away wins have proved surprisingly rare - the last one was on 5th December 1987 at Paget Rangers with 4 goals for Paul Joinson and one each for John Rhodes and the sadly, recently departed Geoff Moss. That followed a 6-1 away win at A.P. Leamington in the same year (but in the previous season) on 28th February 1987 with a hat-trick for Lee Joinson, 2 goals from Paul Joinson and one from Don Smith.

Although the last minute consolation my not appear to matter at first glance, it could actually prove a massive goal.

We currently have a GD of +42, while Chasetown are on +39.

If it goes down to GD, for the title or even for the advantageous 2nd place finish, that goal could potentially cost us big time!

Yes, I'm still hopeful we'll win the league!

Not much to say about yesterday, given the abysmal opposition, but you can only beat what's in front of you, and we did a thoroughly professional job.
