Yep, just got back to HG1 also.
Comfortable win and a clean sheet, incredibly important after a potentially difficult week for the club.
Those that have gone, have gone, and taken their baggage with them.
Nothing is more important than the club.
Onwards!

Good, not great, performance on a blustery wind swept day. Great result and good goals coming from decent passages of football...... the long ball, just pumped up in hope , especially in these windy conditions, doesn't work..... every time we played a decent bit of football... neat passes, running in behind, great pull backs... all lead to goals and good chances.... neat and tidy football played on the deck paid dividends today..... need more of it.... got the players to do it.... forget long ball game.... doesn't work..... well done to all on a good win today...

The last sentence is absolutely spot on. That's why it's existed before we were born and hopefully after we've gone,

Welllll...Simeon Cobourne for me. As a little bloke he was HUUUGE.
Bunn and McCone/Ali get very honourable mentions. And id argue all of them outshone Holmes!!!

"one mans meat is another mans poison "

for me yesterday the occasional long ball pump was the difference between recent performances. There are times when it is better to punt than to try and play it out, especially in our defensive third. I have lost count how many times we have put ourselves under pressure, and conceded goals, in the last 10 or so games when we have done that. The balance , of course, is how many times you do that.

Some great highlights there. Seems like we could have had 7 or 8 with some better finishing.
Pitch looked very bobbily though!!

Nice highlights.
The production values of the opening titles made me think that it was the new Star Wars movie.
