Have to say and I am ready for the flak here, last night was the first enjoyable game I have seen on a synthetic pitch. Great skill shown, the ball stayed in play for significant periods, and no uncontrollable bounce.
First visit to Coleshill, perhaps a better type of pitch than others I have seen, I don’t know.

Still prefer grass though.

Yep defo grass for me, but what made the pitch better last night was the wet weather. Seen a few quotes recently from seasoned players calling for them to be banned if they don’t have sprinkler systems, so that sort of makes sense. That said the ball still bounced and zipped about too much for my liking. Perhaps I’m just an old git
