Not great but we'll definitely take 2-0 at half time. Good centre forwards header from Wight and a lovely individual goal from Holmes.

Holmes shot cleared off the line.

Then a header just wide.

Great save from Platt.

Just seconds after being treated for a whack in the face. Brilliant save!

We've been the better team and could've won by more but they've had one or two good chances.

Finished 2-0.

And could have lost 2-3.
Am I alone in thinking something just isn't the same? That was a poor side we played against today and yet we once again never finished the game well and only 2 great Platt saves and a brilliant goal line clearance from Brookes kept it 'looking' comfortable. I can't say any player played badly, but beyond Platt who did everything he had to very well, and odd moments from Holmes and Lait, we looked very, very average. I know I'm going to get the 'unbeaten in the league and top' replies, and I am as pleased as anyone with that, but when the bar is set as high as it was recent performances have been disappointing. From half time at Khalsa we haven't looked anywhere near the side we were. Anyway to finish on a positive, well done lads on another 3 points, however they came.
