I just think, yesterday, was one of those games where you could of played until it was dark and Halesowen still wouldn't have won. You do get those games from time to time regardless of what league your playing in. We've ten days break now so hopefully injuries to players will subside and we can regroup and move on.
No need for panic, time's a great healer. Well done Handsworth and good luck.

On the one hand I can see why we might need another 'striker' but then on the other we've scored 29 goals in 11 matches. So it's a good problem to have to solve if it's a problem at all. Fortunately that's what the manager has to work out, not us :D

Yeah definitely one of those games. For large periods of the game we controlled it, but they also looked dangerous. It is disappointing to lose, always is but I cant take anything from Handsworth or call them jammy. Thoroughly deserved. I said before the game I had a bad feeling. They looked very together and confident in their warm up. On a different day, we would beat them but thats cup football. The test will be Stamford and how we bounce back.

Stamford had an excellent result of their own yesterday - winning 2-1 away at Telford.

On one hand, that’s worrying, as they’re evidently another good side in this league. On the other, we’ll be playing them midweek before their next FA Cup game - which is ideal timing, I suppose.

...rather than him being Darren Anderton* for the 2020s.

*actually played 500 league games in his career, but yeah, Sicknote.
Ian Bettles surely?
And also, but for slightly different reasons, Nick Colley...

fairweather fan. Darren Anderton got injured in the warm up for a sports quiz.

And Handsworth draw Pontefract Collieries away. That's winnable again for them.

Yes that makes the loss more disappointing as they have only won one league game all season and are struggling.
