Good effort from Ali. Great save by their keeper.

Far from a classic, but they were fairly well organised and Cobourne might have sealed it but for a horrible bobble as well as a penalty flagged by the linesman but ultimately not given. Hopefully the injury to Gregory isn’t too bad. Draw is at 1 on Friday I’m told. Not much more to say really.

Job done. Scoreline probably should have been a bit more generous but, unusually, the front line wasn’t firing tonight.

Jack Holmes probably MoM again, but McCone was superb at the back as well. Bit of a worry about Gregory getting injured and would be surprised if he’s starting on the weekend now.

I think Step 2 enter the next qualifying round - but we could do with sidestepping them because home or away it would be behind closed doors. Draw on Friday.
