Should we win on Tuesday the league will take on a far more realistic look with us moving level second. The infuriating thing is though we only have 2 games in hand then and still are being forced to play EIGHT in January finishing with the top 2 away!

It was fairly comfortable today. We could've won by more but their keeper played well and Cobourne missed a few good chances.

Also we got a bigger attendance than Stourbr*dge today, which must be the first time in a while.

Great that Corby and Berko both lost- never to saw that coming.

It won’t be the BEST team that wins this league, it’ll be the most CONSISTENT.

So we can smash teams 6-0 one week but if we drop silly points the next week then we will miss out. So I’ll gladly take a routine 2-0.

Nine wins in a row though. Seems pretty consistent. ???

the best thing about today for me was that when Hemel came with the same game plan we couldn't cope with it and got done over ... but today we stuck at it, weren't intimidated and got the result.. so we have learnt and improved ... that said the ref today was light years better than that wet sop against Hemel

Do you mean Welwyn GC rather than Hemel Hempstead?

I thought St Neots battled quite well considering their lowly position, but we were generally comfortable and played within ourselves.

Personally I don’t think we were at our best today. Not saying we were terrible but wasn’t as good as Tuesday.

We were very wasteful with a lot of chances so could have been 5 or 6 and like has been said they were an awkward side to play against so at the end of the day a win is a win - and with our nearest league rivals dropping points that is crucial.

It just shows how far we’ve come when you’re disappointed with only winning 2-0 though.
