The biggest compliment I can pay the players and Paul Smith is the fact I can not wait to watch them again. It really is a joy to watch them play. Not only the quality but I love the attitude the players are displaying.

It's just brilliant right now. I don't want this to end.

That was class. Don't anybody be fooled by Lichfield's level, they are the best footballing side we've played this season and will do well in thier division. But therein lies the reason for the scoreline. They DID try to play football, and we will relish playing against sides that do. We will outfootball anybody at our level. Unfortunately we will have to break down stubborn teams most weeks, but that's football. For today though, stunning. End of.

Very privileged to award the player of the month award to Jamie Molineux before the game today, and great to hear the crowd singing his praises this afternoon. He can be in no doubt he's loved now! ;D

Anyone any idea just how regionalised the next round draw is. Don't want a big tie yet. Another well winnable home draw please.

Agree that was a joy to watch, some superb stuff played by us today. But to have say I think 7-1 slightly flattered us. Lichfield weren’t a bad side tbf and played some decent stuff themselves at times and gave us a scare in the first half.

Our class showed in the end though. Some big performances today - Montel Gibson was on fire, absolute quality from him and back to his best from what we saw of him in pre-season. He was a constant threat all game and deserved MOTM.

Also Luke Yates was unplayable and also pleased for Jamie Molyneux, after receiving some probably unjustified stick last week he put it behind him and put in a great performance. Paul McCone and Rob Evans were pretty solid at the back too.

It’s so good though following the Yeltz again. It’s nice to have an association with the players with a settled squad that you recognise. An attendance of 635 is fantastic and a noisy following in the shed made for a great atmosphere. Happy days indeed!

Just superb!
Let's hope that those who came today who hadn't been to The Grove before, or for a long time, enjoyed what they saw and will watch The Yeltz again.

My third game back for quite a while and have thoroughly enjoyed the football so far - let’s hope this continues.
You can't beat watching the Yeltz from the Harry Rudge Stand..
