Sorta hoped we would win today but obviously not? Just thinking we are doomed the way things are going. Smith and Chambers will turn things around in the end but you can't overturn years of neglect just like that? I will most likely renew my season ticket for next season even if we are a division lower.

Can’t possibly imagine what team managers can say for Halesowen News this week...,still bedding in players perhaps? With owners and Club reps also reading from Forum, it would be reeelll good to instigate SOME plan of action to rescue some much needed PRIDE for the rest of the season, even though we know we can’t rescue or league MEMBERSHIP

I left early, and rushed to watch WBA lose to Sheffield United. I am cursed. I hate football.

Today's game reinforces two things for me today... firstly how open the league is, apart from the top three teams, anyone can beat anyone,, but to win games you need to score goals !!! It's not rocket science.... and the trouble is Halesowen have not got a goal in the team... so if we go 1-0 down it's game over or at best a draw.... we are loosing games, like today, by the odd goal ,same as last week.. not getting hammered but not scoring against teams well placed in the league!!!
Need goals, and that situation has not been addressed all season.... players coming and going every week, a different starting eleven, different formations... utter chaos... do the management know what they are doing ? As a lot of the players brought in aren't even in the match day squad or are on the bench... as for tactics or to change a game, have a plan b, nothing ever changes.. played last week with wing backs, didn't work, this week a back four... but when you're loosing 1-0 and not looking like you can score, you need to change something. .. as you need the win... maybe that's the time to revert back to wing backs?? Manage the team and the game as it unfolds !! The tall young striker is out of his depth, in my opinion, not only as a goal threat but he won't get stuck in !! And to cap it all today they take off their best player, voted m o t m , had a good game broke play up , some good tackles showed some fight , vocal as well.... what is going on ??? Probably won't get a look in next game !!! Things need to change... and quickly....

I won’t be convinced it was a close game. Could have played until tomorrow and wouldn’t have scored.

Why we persist with long ball is just ridiculous. They had a centre back that was spherical in shape, he literally couldn’t run, and yet we pumped ball after ball into the air towards him. Even when our new forward came on- he’s about five foot six and yet we still tried long ball.

Guys

Only watched from December onwards but quickly did some stats
Please check if I am correct
J H. 15 games. ( last game away at Rushden 15 points. Pro rata for 30 games. =. 30 points
RS. 15. 10 points pro ratta for 30 games. =. 20 points
Total. 30. 25

Draw your own conclusion but at a point per game might have been enough to avoid relegation
But at 2 points every 3 games no chance

At this stage of the season the points total and position in the league do not lie

God help us

;D ;D ;D

Re your earlier post about the pieman centre half, why did nobody try to run him today? All long balls straight to him. Crazy.
