I can't believe it used to be me that was the blind optimist. Years of dross seem to have beaten it out of me. ::) ;D

If that's a film you've got me beat. I've only watched 3 in the last 40 years!

Hi to all
I must say after yesterday I am beginning to feel as deluded as Mr not so special one Mourinho
I have to agree with many of the comments the 3 - 5 -2 or is it 5- 3 -2 simply is not working
The amount of room their left hand side were given created havoc as we do not appear to have a midfielder in that position to help protect the defence
Today I actually saw a order No 9 who was playing in a number 7 shirt for the opposition Dan Creaney, scored one and a fantastic cross for the winner

To be honest at times this could have been Sunday morning stuff, booting the ball up field where there two centre backs must have been like donkeys being fed strawberries

From the 4 recent signings only young Till has made the starting 11
That does not say much for the other 3, if they cannot make this side

In the words of mr bojangles ( big Ron)

We will need snookers at this rate to avoid relegation

Alubuine was there yesterday on crutches, so guess that is why he did not make the 11.

And I understand Jack Rea left the game also on crutches.

His injury looked nasty, seemed in a lot of pain. Hope he recovers quickly, he's one of the better players we have.

I knew it wouldn't take you long to see the reality of the situation. ;) Imagine the best part of ten years of it, with one decent season (at a lower level) thrown in for measure.

Having given the new management and players time to settle in, I think now is the time to stand up and be counted

The team is predominantly of their choice and with another 4 additions these last few weeks there must be enough newcomers to field their own 11

I will continue to be positive but now want to see the players give a minimum of 100 per cent whenever they are asked to play

The other point after all these many games they must know the best X1 and find some consistency
