Didn’t go today so can’t comment on the performance.

Would suggest it’s decision time on whether we should (or can) stick some more money into the playing budget to bring in a couple of players/ringers to save our bacon. Fortunately we are still not cut adrift- but going to need a turn in form and consistent performances from here.

Sometimes, you have to step back to start again. I suspect thats how this will play out tbh. Ill just be glad when this bloody mess ends.

Well we've certainly gone so far back that we're miles off the starting line.

We know that we're unlikely to keep a clean sheet whether it's a scrappy goal or a good goal like today, but the goal of scoring one goal, let alone a goal more than the opposition seems utterly beyond us.

Ok let’s have this conversation after the next 3 games which should be enough to see the strikers start to get.

And thats kinda what I mean. Its going to take relegation before we start again unfortunately.

Youre on. The problem is mate, we're all cheesed off. I cant say I saw anything from the new guy that made me get excited. The fact is we cant score. We play awful for a game and a half, after several poor games. Stop the rot for a game and a half but still cant score. Their is not one of the front line I fancy to get a goal a game or in fact a goal every other game. I always hope to be proven wrong, in fact I always hope for something. We're over halfway through a chaotic season and nothing is getting better.

We got exactly what I expected from the new bloke, his record of 7 goals in three years and numerous clubs, did nothing to inspire me prior to the match and his performance proved me right.

The new striker could hold the ball up.. looked quite strong.. good feet..trouble was he was doing all that on the touch line not in the middle.... same as sweeney... on the other flank... your not going to score out there !! The reason we looked solid at the back was how poor they were !! A better side would have beat us well !!!
