Strange one to sum up. We could have been out of sight by half time, Udoh missing a few and others misfiring as well. Yet come 90 minutes Platt had probably been our best player in both halves. We worked hard but were fairly ordinary most of the time. Deserved the equaliser though and a draw was probably a fair reflection. Trouble is though, (with Christmas shopping on the horizon as well) I can't see many wavering punters being drawn back in the near future with what's on offer.

It's just a good job in the end that we didn't lose that 6 pointer and that Sutton lost again. That New Year's match with them is looking huge. I can't currently see us getting enough of a run going to get us out of the relegation dogfight.

Thank goodness for S/C's horrendous goal difference!

I'm sensing the almost total lack of comment on the match reflects the apathy surrounding us at the moment. Our realistic goal this season now looks to be to finish outside the bottom ONE. I know a few good results will push us way up the table because there are so many poor teams but can anyone see that coming?
