Ah, Rushall. Such a great day out. They should start doing package holidays there. 8)

We were unlucky not to get a point in the miserable conditions. The run of play and goal attempts were pretty even, it's just that they took one chance. 4-4-2 seems to suit nicely although Melvin was clearly wasted in the middle, exposing our lack of cover in centre midfield. Positive to see Chilly back in a Yeltz shirt- he looked lively and creative- but sadly cannot offer similar comments for Colley on the opposite flank who was, shall we say, "ineffectual". :-\

Worth a quick nod to Fordey as well- it was a nice touch to applaud the Yeltz fans at the end. I'm convinced that beneath his bulldog exterior there beats a heart of gold. :-*

I thought we were very ineffective until the last 15 minutes and then it was all too little too late.

We didn't make Rushall work enough at the back until far too late in the game. Up to then Eze did have it easy.

I don't think we deserved to win the match but probably didn't deserve to lose it. I think 0-0 like last season would of been fair. Fair play to Fordey for clapping us at the end but at the end of the day he is not a Yeltz player. Nice catching up with folk young and older. Still plenty of points to play for up the Yeltz !

Thought we played well enough to deserve a point. But at the same time we didn't do enough to win the game. I was left feeling frustrated at the end of the match.

I thought we played some good football at times, and had a lot of possession, particularly second half, but we didn't really do a lot with it.

We need to be more brave and composed in the final third. We definitely need to get more shots off, I get the impression we seem scared to shoot from 20 yards out or so, and are perhaps guilty of trying to walk the ball in.

Id also like to see us be a bit more nasty to teams. I know this is a young and fairly inexperienced squad, so hopefully that'll come in time.

I think we're a good winger (dare I say a Lait type player) and a player similar to Forde, who can break teams attacks up and protect our back four, away from being a very good side at this level.

(Not at all suggesting we should sign those two, nor do I want the 'shouldn't have let them go' debate going)!
