Great 3 points well done.

The highlights show Anderson at the end seems to have done something, hopefully he will be fit for next Saturday.

Next Darlington a long trip but we can do it again.

Whilst last weeks defensive display was quite rightly praised at Blyth, offensively we looked dangerous all game yesterday. The first half in particular we looked like we were going to score every time we went forward. When we did go direct they panicked, when we played through them they panicked, when we went wide they panicked. It really did look men against boys in every sense, but that said you can only beat what is in front of you.
With a few lads carrying knocks it may well have been a case of seeing the game out in the second half as we clearly dropped the tempo and they came out with a lot more urgency also.
Special mention to young Cameron Milne who came on in the last couple of minutes, nice to see a young lad come through, I'm sure it'll inspire some of the youngsters in the very impressive youth team to see you do get your chance. Thought that was a nice touch by JH with the game won.

Hopefully the injury to Kaiman isn't too bad and Brags is fine too. With Stourbr*dge to come on Easter Monday it'll be interesting to see what team is put out against Darlington next week.

To echo pretty much has been said, we were awesome in the first half yesterday, we played with confidence and conviction and looked a threat every time we went forward. It really could have been 5 or 6 as we dominated. Anderson and Sweeney were a handful for their defence, the latter unlucky not to score.

However half time came and the second half we weren't half as much as impressive. It was job done so maybe took the foot off the gas a bit but it would have been nice to have carried on and looked to have scored a couple more.

They did up their game the 2nd half which they needed to as they had to restore some pride. They got the goal that looked to be over the line and had a few more chances.

So all in all a cracking away day out yesterday, nice little ground at Ilkeston and a good set up, can't complain at £6 entry as well! Very good value for money and we were certainly good value for our win which puts us on the 50 point mark!

Tough game against Darlington but the lads are playing well and after beating Blyth you never know! But the 'biggie' is next Monday against them lot down the road....

Up the Yeltz!
