Dreadful result. Have Wulfrunians got a bigger budget?

Re: Wulfunians Updates
Pointless competition that's not worth entering. Have we actually made any money tonight given the fact it's a fiva and we only attracted just over one hundred people!? I'd be surprised if we covered the costs of hosting the game?
Same applies with the pointless league cup we've got coming up against Leek.
FA Cup and Trophy, only. We play enough games as it is.

I'm sure entry is voluntary and we actually have to pay to enter? Could be wrong.lutleyyeltz wrote:Maybe we have to compete?

By the sound of it thank goodness I stayed away. Totally agree with Raiden. Don't get the appeal of this cup or next week's league cup game. When the team is typically going to play around 45 games with FA cup and trophy included, why put part time players under added strain?lutleyyeltz wrote:To those who stayed at home - bloody good call!

Still it doesn't look good on paper to lose to a team 2 divisions below. Let's hope the players were saving themselves? !

I couldn't be bothered tonight, so I wouldn't blame or be surprised if players weren't either.juanillo wrote:By the sound of it thank goodness I stayed away. Totally agree with Raiden. From the sounds of it both sides didn't want to be there and produced a match that showed that?

Re: Wulfunians Updates
shocking game tonight absolutely shocking. I always understood that clubs have to be associated with a county FA to exist and as such they are obliged to enter competitions such as these. Nonetheless we were awful and I am not normally one for posting my opinions but it might be good if the management came out and said so because if those who were there the in the local press that we've lost to a side two levels below ourselves with not that many changes it doesn't look good. But it always to be the way with these competitions that sides seem to lack an edge when playing them and kind of seem to score goals and win matches if opportunities present themselves rather than necessarily going full throttle to win. But as I say it seems to have been ever those in these competitions sorry for the rant not usual for me I know. Anyway I've finished now! ahh that's better!lutleyyeltz wrote:Maybe we have to compete?
