For all you long distance bods.
1st half Didcot looked as good as any team thus far. Once they realised Nesbitt was our game plan they snuffed him out and closed us down very quickly. Looked useful on the break themselves. Second half, the more we took the game to them the more tired they looked. Slowly but surely the goal looked like it was coming. With by far our best move of the match the ball the ball ended up at Chilterns' feet and he made no mistake from 6 yards. No sloppy mistakes at the back tonight either. Another hard earned 3 points. Happy days.

After the first 10 minutes, it was a game of very few chances and the keepers were not kept busy. Bringing Jackson seemed to swing the game as he was a target who occupied a couple of their defenders and thus created space. Generally, either Didcot played better than their posistion suggests or the Yeltz played worse. Having said that, the fantastic team reaction to the late winner showed that there seems to be a great team spirit.

Our two strikers were a little challenged in the height and weight department and continuous battering from bigger defenders led to a bit of frustration from both of them.
We didn't seem to have a Plan B when Didcot, frightened by his pace, snuffed out our main threat by man-marking Justin. When Nathan Jackson came on and we set up a 4-4-2 formation we were a different outfit.
A little dire at times, but three points is the main aim before each game. The last ten minutes were worth suffering the previous 80!

A footnote from the match. Didcot's captain played his last game after 16 years and over 720 games for the club. A rare breed indeed!
