Another good runout, so well done to the club and BCR for arranging the fixture at short notice.

All in all, preseason's been very positive for us. New signings looking sharp, lots of game time for all the squad players and, very importantly, no injuries (not that I know of, anyway)!

Only downside- and I'm being quite picky here- is that we've been a bit sloppy at the back and given soft goals away. It happened again yesterday. Need to sharpen up a bit here, as it would be a shame to drop points early doors (as we did last season) due to defensive slip-ups.

Agree. I wasn't at the game yesterday so can't comment on that but from what I've seen in the other games I would say the same. Conceded late goals in the games against Stafford and Tividale. Do look a bit nervy at the back at times.

Good to see other players getting amongst the scoring other than Haseley as well though, it would be a lot of pressure to solely rely on him to score the goals especially if he gets injured or has a lean spell without scoring.

All in all though, very pleasing and can't wait for the season to start now!
